The Ministry of Transportation & Infrastructure (the ‘Ministry’)  has used the services of ARC Protection since spring 2015 to secure several large Ministry owned lands in Maple Ridge.

ARC Protection has been responsible for daily surveillance of these lands, which have been the target of squatters and homeless encampments for years due to their secluded  location. ARC Protection has acted quickly and professionally to these situations to inform us of the issue and to assist us in safely and expediently resolving the matter.

Most recently, ARC Protection was called on by the Ministry to address a highly time sensitive security matter. Despite being contacted after business hours, ARC Protection attended the site and provided frequent updates on the status of the situation. This situation has further demonstrated to the Ministry ARC’s professional work ethic and commitment to customer service.

ARC Protection Corporation has been contracted for personal  protection, K9 services, mobile  patrols  and fixed  guard security  by Kinder  Morgan  Canada  (KMC) for the past two years.  During  this period  ARC has performed  very well providing personal  protection and fixed  guards  at our emergency management public  event,  maintaining K9 and handler  24 hour seven  day a week coverage  at our two critical  operations sites  and additional mobile patrols  and tail vehicle  coverage at our critical  operations sites when requested.

ARC is very progressive using electronic technology for their daily reports,  facility maintenance issues  and security  incidents. KMC supervisors, managers and field staff have instant  notification through  e-mail  when any security  issue  occurs.  All ARC security  staff use smart phones  and have KMC ‘s post orders  available electronically if the need arises  in the field.  All reports  are easily  accessible through  their  web site thus eliminating KMC paper  copies  retained  on site.

I have worked  very close  with ARC management over the last two years to mitigate protesters and potential security  threats.  They are very professional and diligent  and the customer’s interest  always  comes  first.  If you do not require  the service  they will not push it. They are very easy to work with and totally  engaged  with their operation. One of the best security  companies I have worked  with over my 34 year career.  I am very pleased ARC is a part of our KMC daily facility  operation and security  coverage concerns are non existent.

During the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics, the Can-Am Protection Group (Now ARC) was contracted to provide Canine services at the VIA Rail facility located at 1150 Station St., Vancouver.

They were responsible to provide a security service which included searches in the detection of illegal explosives that could have been placed at the VIA Rail Station, the service area, the platform area, on-board VIA Rail trains and at the VIA Rail Vancouver Maintenance Center. Under the leadership of Rob Jonatschick, the Canine Teams selected to provide this service did so with the proper training and required knowledge to perform their tasks with the utmost of professionalism and expertise.

VIA Rail continues to use the services of ARC Protection Corp as and when the need arises.

As the Executive Director of Little Warriors and the Be Brave Ranch, a treatment facility for children who have been sexually abused, I hired ARC Protection Corp in August of 2016 to provide security for this facility.

The Be Brave Ranch is on 120 acres with approx. 30 acres fenced. We have several buildings on site and the safety of the children and staff is imperative to us.

I have been totally pleased with the service we receive from ARC Protection Corp. The guards monitor all of our buildings every hour and patrol the grounds every shift.
